If you have questions regarding your bill or patient statement, please call (636) 207-0227. Our corporation provides billing services for all of our patients. After a visit or procedure is performed a claim will be filed with your appropriate payor based on information you provided. It is very important that you provide us with all the necessary information to perform this service.
SLHI participates in most HMO, PPO, POS insurances as well as Medicare. It is our office policy that a patient contact their insurance company to see if our surgeon(s) are participating providers. Should a patient need assistance she/he may call the office .
The patient is responsible for making sure the surgeon’s bill is paid appropriately. If unusual circumstances should occur and make it impossible for you to meet our credit terms, we invite you to call or personally discuss this matter with our office. This will avoid any misunderstandings and enable the patient's account to remain in good standings.
SHLI hopes you will understand that our credit and collections policies are a necessary part of assuring the financial resources required to maintain our high standard of care and services to our patients and the community.
